November 3rd, we had the election for our U. S. president for the next four years, and the country seemed equally divided on who they want. No matter who is the new president, my hope is that now we can come together and unify under our common goals for the highest good, work together with each other to achieve them, and commit to elevate and be supportive of each other. My vision for our community, our state, our country, is that we find ways of effective, non-violent communication, in order to be effective in our relations with others, officials, and leaders.
To lead is not for the faint at heart, for it is sometimes filled with scrutiny and criticism. A good leader knows this and strives to do his/her best, in spite of what some may think or say, with the goal of commitment and service to others as the focus.
We had our elections of officers this past month, and I am excited that Cara Fox, co-owner of Realty One Group Fox, has stepped up to be our 2020 President-Elect, and 2021 President! Her decision to become involved with the Women’s Council of Realtors was the attraction of the leadership skills and education offered. Welcome, Cara to the Solano Network!
Women’s Council of Realtors has helped to educate, provided mentorship and inspiration to me and others. It has elevated me to a higher level. It is my hope that you look further into this organization’s values, goals, and vision, as I have done, to see what a positive professional organization this is, and decide to become a part of it. We welcome you to find out what it is that is attracting to realtors and affiliates and what keeps people involved in this organization.
