Eva M. Garcia

Eva M. Garcia has been a realtor for nine years and recently moved her license under Realty One Group Fox. Eva is married to Leon Garcia, current mayor of American Canyon, and has six adult children between them and three grandchildren. Eva loves to bake and garden and is a 2016 Master Gardener Graduate. Her passion is to do Random Acts of Lumpia or Rum Cake!

Eva was born in Castillejos, Zambales, Philippines. On her way to American Canyon, she has lived in Hawaii, Chicago, San Francisco, and Contra Costa County. She is a 15-year resident of American Canyon. She believes when businesses are successful the city thrives. Eva keeps a busy schedule as an American Canyon Chamber Ambassador and was awarded Chamber Ambassador of the Year in 2010. She was 2022 President and is Immediate Past President and Executive Board of Director of the Solano Association of Realtors in Vallejo. She is Ambassador of Vallejo Chamber of Commerce, Board of Director of Providence Hospital (formerly Queen of the Valley Hospital) Diversity Team, and Board of Director of Solano Rebuilding Together. She was also a former Board of Director for Napa County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.  She is an active member of the Lions and Kiwanis Clubs. Eva is also on the American Canyon Citizens Emergency Response Team.

Besides serving in the fore mentioned capacities and serving her clients in the real estate profession, she also volunteers to deliver food to the veterans and seniors in American Canyon and Solano County. During the beginning of the pandemic, Eva along with others was able to obtain free from the community 45,000 face masks, gloves and other equipment. She personally worked every Saturday for a year beginning March 2020 to deliver the PPE items to skilled nursing facilities and hospitals throughout the area (when nurses were given only one mask a day to use).

She advocates for anyone in need and has risen to the needs of individuals and her community. Once she had a real estate transaction in a mobile home park where she learned of an elderly woman in her eighties who lived alone. The park manager had given the woman a notice of eviction based on the property requiring maintenance and alterations (dry rot repairs, unpermitted extension and health and safety issues, and overgrowth of shrubs and trees). The elderly woman did not have money to hire anyone, and she had no friends or relatives who could help her. Eva, seeing this woman’s predicament, contacted a pest inspector she had met through the Women’s Council of Realtors who agreed to provide his work free of charge (he’s a great guy himself!). Because of Eva stepping up and advocating on behalf of this woman, she avoided the eviction and was able to remain in her mobile home.

Women’s Council of Realtors Solano is very pleased and honored to have Eva Garcia as our Membership Director for 2023!
